  • Why should you hire me?

    I've been making games as a hobby for years, most of them being short demos or jam games. Not sticking with one project has allowed me the liberty to work with a different project every month; allowing me to learn different things and gaining experience in all aspects of game development. However, I have also worked with large projects and can design and program complex systems for games.

    Tubetastic is a multiplayer party game, with offline splitscreen modes and online multiplayer, both coded by me.


    I was brought in after the base game had been built, but was hardcoded as a single-player game.
    I worked with the existing codebase to convert it into a dynamic, multi-player game with splitscreen.

    After that was done, the head of the project decided to implement online multiplayer as well.
    So I built a functional online multiplayer system, with authoritative servers coded in Node.js and hosted on Amazon Lightsail.

    What's this?

    This was a side-project I made in my free time. I wanted to make a platformer, and at the time I used to watch PewDiePie.

    So I just made him and his dog... and then built the game around it. He ended up playing it...


    As with every game, I learned a lot while making this, especially about building and managing various systems (inventory, ability types, enemy types, etc.).

    The best thing I learned from this project would be making a script-based cutscene system. I even created a tutorial about it!
